It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), who was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people on the evening of Arafah and the morning of Muzdalifah, when they had halted: "Adopt tranquillity and calm." And he was holding back his she-camel, until, when he entered the valley of Muhassir, which is part of Mina, he said: "You must use small pebbles, the kind with which the Jamrah is stoned." Sayyiduna al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) said: And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) continued reciting the Talbiyah until he stoned the Jamrah.
