حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ، قَالَا: ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَزَلْ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ، فَرَمَاهَا سَبْعَ حَصَيَاتٍ يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued reciting the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah; he threw seven pebbles at it, saying the Takbir with each pebble.
