Nafi' bin Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Swords are not to be drawn, nor arrows scattered, in the mosques; nor is an oath to be sworn by Allah in the mosque; nor is a resident or a guest to be prevented from the midday rest in the mosques; nor are they to be adorned with images, nor decorated with glass; for they were built upon trust and ennobled with honour."
