Jubayr bin Nufayr from Irbad (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15729 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would seek
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، وَعِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَغْفِرُ لِلصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ ثَلَاثًا، وَلِلثَّانِي مَرَّةً» وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَعْمَرٌ وَعِكْرِمَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا جُبَيْرَ بْنَ نُفَيْرٍ "
Sayyiduna al-Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would seek forgiveness for the front row three times and for the second row once.
