Sayyiduna al-Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) related: I sold the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) a young camel. Then I came to claim my due and said: "Pay me for my young camel." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Very well, I will pay you." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) paid me, and paid me in the best manner. Then a Bedouin came and said: "Give me my due." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him an old camel that had grown advanced in years. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is better than my young camel." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of people is the one who is best in repaying (debts)."
