Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15721 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، عَنْ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللهِ، وَخَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّنَ، وَإِنَّ آدَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ لَمُنْجَدِلٌ فِي طِينَتِهِ، وَسَأُحَدِّثُكُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ دَعْوَةُ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبِشَارَةُ عِيسَى، وَرُؤْيَا أُمِّي رَأَتْ، وَكَذَلِكَ أُمَّهَاتُ النَّبِيِّنَ يَرَيْنَ» ، وَإِنَّ أُمَّ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَتْ حِينَ وَضَعَتْ نُورًا أَضَاءَتْ مِنْهُ قُصُورَ الشَّامِ
Sayyiduna al-Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed I am the servant of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets, and Adam (peace be upon him) was still lying in his clay (when this was already decreed). I will tell you about that: the supplication of my father Ibrahim (peace be upon him), the glad tidings of Isa (peace be upon him), and the dream my mother saw; and likewise the mothers of the prophets see." And when the mother of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave birth to him, she saw a light by which the palaces of Syria were lit up.
