حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ غُلَيْبٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْهَاشِمِيِّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، إِنَّ أَبَاهُ حَصِينًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: أَرَأَيْتَ رَجُلًا كَانَ يُقْرِي الضَّيْفَ، وَيَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ، مَاتَ قَبْلَكَ، وَهُوَ أَبُوكَ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ أَبِي وَأَبَاكَ وَأَنْتَ فِي النَّارِ» . قَالَ: فَمَاتَ حُصَيْنٌ مُشْرِكًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father Husayn came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: What do you think of a man who used to honour his guests and maintain ties of kinship, who died before you, and he was your father? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My father, your father and you - all are in the Fire." The narrator said: Husayn died in a state of shirk (polytheism).
