Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15602 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden

Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had forbidden cauterisation, but we had ourselves cauterised, and there was in it neither a cure for any illness nor freedom from sin.
