حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَكِيعِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي قَالَا: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ فِي مَرَضِهِ، «فَأَقْرَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn al-Khuza'i (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man freed six slaves during his illness, "so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cast lots between them, freed two, and kept four in slavery."
