Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15374 — The verse of mut'ah was revealed

Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The verse of mut'ah was revealed in the Book of Allah - meaning Hajj tamattu' - and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was commanded with it. No verse was revealed that abrogated the verse of Hajj tamattu', and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not forbid it until he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away. A man said whatever he wished by his own opinion.
