حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْعَدَوِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أنا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: «تَمَتَّعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَنَزَلَ بِهِ الْقُرْآنُ، فَلْيَقُلْ رَجُلٌ بِرَأْيِهِ مَا شَاءَ»
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We performed tamattu' with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Qur'an was revealed about it; so let a man say, from his own opinion, whatever he wishes.
