Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15262 — I heard Umar bin Abd al-Aziz

Abd al-Rahman bin Humayd (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Umar bin Abd al-Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him), while he was the governor of Madinah, asking his companions: What have you heard about staying in Makkah? Al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: Al-Ala' bin al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The emigrant may stay for three days after completing his rites."
