معدي كرب بن عبد كلال، عن عوف
Ma'dikarib bin Abd Kulal from Awf (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15197 — the Prophet ﷺ said: My Lord
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْوُحَاظِيُّ، ثنا جَابِرُ بْنُ غَانِمٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ كُلَالٍ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ رَبِّي تَعَالَى خَيَّرَنِي خَصْلَتَيْنِ: أَنْ يَرْتَحِلَ نِصْفُ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ، وَبَيْنَ الشَّفَاعَةِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Lord, the Exalted, gave me a choice between two things: that half of my Ummah would go to Paradise, or that I be granted intercession."
