شداد أبو عمار، عن عوف بن مالك
Shaddad Abu Ammar from Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15194 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I

حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا النَّهَّاسُ بْنُ قَهْمٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادٍ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَنَا وَامْرَأَةٌ سَفْعَاءُ الْخَدَّيْنِ كَهَاتَيْنِ امْرَأَةٌ آمَتْ مِنْ نَفْسِهَا فحَبَسَتْ نَفْسَهَا عَلَى بَنَاتِهَا حَتَّى بَانُوا أَوْ مَاتُوا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I and a woman with darkened cheeks will be like these two (fingers): a woman who was widowed and held herself back (from marriage) for the sake of her daughters until they were married or they died."
