حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْجُذَامِيِّ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً فَهِيَ فِدَاؤُهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever frees a believing slave, it will be his ransom."
