Rabi'ah bin Qays from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14974 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى غَيْرَ سَاهٍ وَلَا لَاهٍ كُفِّرَ عَنْهُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَهَا»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever performs ablution (wudu) and performs his ablution well, then prays without heedlessness and without distraction, his sins before it are forgiven."
