Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14878 — When Sayyiduna Ibrahim

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When Sayyiduna Ibrahim (the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)) passed away, the sun was eclipsed. The people said: The sun has been eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah; they are not eclipsed because of anyone's death or life. When you see that, hasten to the prayer."
