حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَة، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَبِيبٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ بَعْدَ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ كَالْمُوَدِّعِ الْأَحْيَاءَ وَالْأَمْوَاتَ، ثُمَّ طَلَعَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ: «إِنِّي بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمٍ فَرَطٌ، وَإِنِّي عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيدٌ، وَإِنَّ مَوْعِدَكُمْ الْحَوْضُ، وَإِنِّي لَأَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ وَأَنَا فِي مَقَامِي هَذَا، وَإِنِّي لَسْتُ أَخْشَى عَلَيْكُمْ أنْ تُشْرِكُوا، وَلَكِنِّي أَخْشَى عَلَيْكُمُ الدُّنْيَا أَنْ تَنَافَسُوهَا» قَالَ عُقْبَةَ: فَكَانَتْ آخِرَ نَظْرَةٍ نَظَرْتُهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. أَحَدُهُمَا نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ صَاحِبِهِ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ بَعْدَ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer over the martyrs of Uhud after eight years, as though bidding farewell to the living and the dead. Then he ascended the pulpit and said: "I will go ahead of you to the Pool, and I am a witness over you. Your appointed meeting place is the Pool, and I am looking at it while I stand in this very place of mine. I do not fear for you that you will associate partners with Allah, but I fear for you that you will compete with one another in pursuit of the world." Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: That was the last time I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The narration of each of the two (chains) is like that of the other, and al-Layth bin Sa'd did not mention "after eight years".
