حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ الْقِرْقِسَانِيُّ، ثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ، وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ، وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute and the fee of a soothsayer.
