حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، وَجَرِيرٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: أَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ: «الْإِيمَانُ هَاهُنَا، الْقَسْوَةُ وَغِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ عِنْدَ أُصُولِ أَذْنَابِ الْإِبِلِ، حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ فِي رَبِيعَةَ، وَمُضَرَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards Yemen and said: "Faith is here; hardness and coarseness of heart are among the loud-voiced herdsmen who live by the tails of the camels, where the horn of Satan rises, in Rabi'ah and Mudar."
