Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14565 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed a man
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ عِصْمَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَعْمَلَ رَجُلًا عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اخْتَرْ لِي، فَقَالَ: «اجْلِسْ فِي بَيْتِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man to collect the charity (sadaqah). He said: "O Messenger of Allah, choose (what is best) for me." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stay sitting in your house."
