Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14556 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to begin
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ عِصْمَةَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَسْتَفْتِحُ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [الفاتحة: ٢] ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، وَعُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to begin the recitation with "All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds", and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) also did the same.
