Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14542 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to visit
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ عِصْمَةَ قَالَ: زَارَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى قُبَاءَ، فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ جِئْنَاهُ بِحِمَارٍ قَحَاطِيٍّ قَطُوفٍ فَرَكِبَهُ، قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَذَا غُلَامٌ يَأْتِي مَعَكَ يَرُدُّ الدَّابَّةَ قَالَ: «صَاحِبُ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا» قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ارْكَبْ وُرَّدَهَا لَنَا، فَذَهَبَ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَهُوَ هِمْلَاجٌ مَا يُسَايِرُ
Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to visit us at Quba. When he intended to return, we brought a sluggish, slow-paced donkey, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted it. We said: O Messenger of Allah! This boy will go with you so that he can bring the animal back. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The owner of the animal has more right to its front seat." We said: O Messenger of Allah! Ride, and send it back to us (yourself). So he (peace and blessings be upon him) went and sent it back to us, and it had now become so smooth and swift of pace that no one could keep up with it.
