Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14471 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Goodness

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ» ، قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا ذَاك؟ قَالَ: «الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ»
Sayyiduna Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is that?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Reward and spoils of war."
