حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ مُغَلِّسٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ: «كَان رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَهُ الْمَاءُ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ النِّسَاءَ غَمَسَ أَيْدِيَهُنَّ فِيه»
Sayyiduna Urwah bin Mas'ud al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would have water with him, and when it came to the turn of the women, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would dip their hands into it.
