Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14121 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: They will

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَدْعُونَ إِلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَيْسُوا مِنَ اللهِ فِي شَيْءٍ، مَنْ قَاتَلَهُمْ كَانَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ مِنْهُمْ» - يَعْنِي الْخَوَارِجَ
It is narrated from Abu Zayd al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They will call to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, yet they will have no connection with Allah (and His religion). Whoever fights them will be more deserving (of nearness) to Allah than they are." - He (peace and blessings be upon him) meant the Khawarij.
