Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14118 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ، ثَنَا أَبِي، ثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عِلْبَاءَ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: «صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَجْرَ، ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الظُّهْرُ، فَنَزَلَ فَصَلَّى، ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ، ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَأَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ، فَأَعْلَمُنَا أَحْفَظُنَا»
It is narrated from Abu Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the Fajr prayer, then he ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the time of Zuhr came; then he came down and prayed. Then he ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the time of Asr came; then he came down and prayed Asr. Then he ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the sun set. He (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us of everything that was going to happen, so the most knowledgeable of us is the one among us who memorised the most.
