حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فَضَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا اشْتَرَى أَحَدُكُمْ لَحْمًا فَلْيُكْثِرْ مَرَقَهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُصِبْ أَحَدُكُمْ لَحْمًا أَصَابَ مَرَقًا، وَهُوَ أَحَدُ اللَّحْمَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you buys meat, let him make plenty of broth with it, for if one of you does not get any meat, he will at least get broth, and that too is a kind of meat."
