حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا دُحَيْمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، جَمِيعًا، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ: إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُؤْمِنٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللهَ شَيْئًا إِلَّا قَضَى لَهُ حَاجَتَهُ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: فَأَشَارَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «بَعْضُ سَاعَةٍ» ، فَقُلْتُ: صَدَقْتَ بَعْضُ سَاعَةٍ، قُلْتُ: أَيُّ سَاعَةٍ هِيَ؟، قَالَ: «آخِرُ سَاعَاتِ النَّهَارِ» ، قُلْتُ: إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِسَاعَةِ صَلَاةٍ، قَالَ: «بَلَى إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا صَلَّى، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ لَمْ يَحْبِسْهُ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةُ فَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةٍ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: While the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting, I said: "We find in the Book of Allah that on Friday there is an hour such that no believing servant coincides with it while praying and asks Allah for something, except that Allah fulfils his need." Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed towards me, saying: "Part of an hour." I said: "You have spoken the truth, part of an hour." I asked: "Which hour is it?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The last hours of the day." I said: "But that is not an hour of prayer." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed it is. When the believing servant prays, then sits and nothing holds him back except the prayer, he is counted as being in prayer."
