Damrah bin Abdullah bin Unays from his father
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13935 — I heard my father, Sayyiduna Abdullah
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ النَّاجِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ ضَمْرَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ؟، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، يُخْبِرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «تَحَرَّوْهَا لَيْلَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»
Bukayr bin Abdullah relates: I asked Damrah bin Abdullah bin Unays about Laylat al-Qadr, and he said: I heard my father, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Unays (may Allah be pleased with him), relating from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek it on the twenty-third night."
