It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim reaches fifty years of age, Allah Almighty turns away from him three kinds of affliction: insanity, leprosy and vitiligo. Then when he reaches sixty, Allah grants him the ability to turn back to Him. Then when he reaches seventy, his bad deeds are erased and his good deeds are recorded. Then when he reaches ninety, Allah forgives him his former and latter sins, he becomes Allah's captive on earth, and he intercedes for the people of his household."
Abdullah bin Abi Umayyah bin al-Mughirah bin Abdullah bin Umar bin Makhzum (may Allah be pleased with him) was the paternal brother of Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her). His mother was Atikah bint Abd al-Muttalib, the paternal aunt of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He accepted Islam on the day of the Conquest of Makkah: he met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the road and accepted Islam, and he was martyred on the day of (the Battle of) Ta'if alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
