Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13835 — the Prophet ﷺ used to point

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to point with his finger when supplicating, without moving it. Ibn Jurayj said: Amr bin Dinar added that Amir bin Abdullah bin al-Zubayr reported that his father saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating in this way, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would lean the weight of his left hand on his left leg.
