Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13821 — from his father that Aishah said

Hisham bin Urwah narrated from his father that Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "All your wives have a kunyah except me." The messenger of allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Take a kunyah: you are Umm Abdullah." So she continued to be called Umm Abdullah until she died, although she never gave birth to a child.
