Tha'labah bin Amr al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), a participant in Badr, who was martyred on the day of the Bridge of al-Mada'in in the year 15

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ: «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ جِسْرِ الْمَدَائِنِ، مَعَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ مَبْذُولٍ، ثَعْلَبَةِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ»
Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) states, among the names of those who were martyred on the day of the Bridge of al-Mada'in alongside Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Ansar, then from Banu Amr bin Mabdhul: Tha'labah bin Amr bin Mihsan.
