حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ لابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ: تَذْكُرَا يَوْمَ لَقِينَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟، قَالَا: «نَعَمْ، فَحَمَلَنَا، وَتَرَكَكَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to Ibn Abbas and Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with them): Do you remember the day we met the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? The two of them said: "Yes, he (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted us (on his riding animal) and left you."
