حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ، قَالَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي قَبِيلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ يُفَارِقُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا أَخَاهُ وَأَبَاهُ، تَطِيرُ الْفِتْنَةُ فِي قُلُوبِ رِّجَالٍ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، حَتَّى يُعَيَّرُ الرَّجُلُ بِهَا، كَمَا تُعَيَّرُ الزَّانِيَةُ بِزِنَاهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be a tribulation (fitnah) in which a man will part from his brother and his father. This tribulation will fly about in the hearts of some of the people until the Day of Resurrection, until a man will be reproached for it just as an adulteress is reproached for her adultery."
