Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13739 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ، قَالَ: ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، قَالَ: أنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ الْمُسَدَّدَ لَيُدْرِكُ دَرَجَةَ الصُّوَّامِ الْقُوَّامِ بِآيَاتِ اللهِ بِحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ وَبِكَرَمِ ضَرِيبَتِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The upright Muslim, by his good character and generous nature, attains the rank of those who fast much and stand (in prayer at night) with the verses of Allah."
