حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ، قَالَ: ثنا الْمُقْرِئُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ بْنُ غُرَابٍ الْيَحْصِبِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي غُطَيْفٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ، فَأَوْسَعْنَا لَهُ فَجَلَسَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَيْنَ أَصْحَابِي الَّذِينَ هُمْ مِنِّي، وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ وَأَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ وَيَدْخُلُونَهَا مَعِي» ، قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا، فَقُلْنَا: أَغَيْرُنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟، قَالَ: «نَعَمْ، أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ الْمُطْرَحِينَ فِي أَطْرَافِ الْأَرْضِ، الْمَدْفُوعِينَ عَنْ أَبْوَابِ السُّلْطَانِ، يَمُوتُ أَحَدُهُمْ وَحَاجَتُهُ فِي صَدْرِهِ لَمْ يِقْضِهَا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us while we were sitting. We made room for him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) sat down, then said: "Where are my companions who are from me and I am from them; I will enter Paradise and they will enter it with me?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times. We said: O Messenger of Allah! Are they other than us? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, the people of Yemen, who are cast away to the edges of the earth and driven away from the doors of the rulers. One of them dies with his need still in his chest, unable to fulfil it."
