حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ أَحَبَّ رَجُلًا لِلَّهِ، فَقَدْ أَحَبَّ اللهَ، فَدَخَلَا جَمِيعًا الْجَنَّةَ، فَكَانَ الَّذِي أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ أَرْفَعَ مَنْزِلَةً مِنَ الْآخَرِ الَّذِي أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever loves a man for the sake of Allah has loved Allah; so they will both enter Paradise together, and the one who loved for the sake of Allah will be of a higher rank than the other."
