حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ صُدِعَ رَأْسُهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَاحْتَسَبَ، غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has his head wounded in the path of Allah and hopes for the reward, Allah forgives him all his previous sins."
