حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهَا نَبِيٌّ قَبْلِي: بُعِثْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً الْأَحْمَرِ وَالْأَسْوَدِ، وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ يُبْعَثُ كُلُّ نَبِيٍّ إِلَى قَرْيَتِهِ، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ يُرْعَبُ مِنِّي عَدُوِّي عَلَى مَسِيرَةِ شَهْرٍ، وَأُعْطِيتُ الْمَغْنَمَ، وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا، وَأُعْطِيتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ فَأَخَّرْتُهَا لِأُمَّتِي "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given five things which were not given to any prophet before me: I have been sent to all people, the red and the black alike, whereas every prophet used to be sent only to his own town. I have been helped with awe, so that my enemy is struck with fear of me at a distance of a month's journey. I have been given the spoils of war. The earth has been made for me a place of prostration and a means of purification. And I have been given intercession, which I have deferred for my Ummah."
