Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13456 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Among the trees

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مِنَ الشَّجَرِ لَشَجَرَةٌ كَالرَّجُلِ الْمُؤْمِنِ» ، فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ: هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ، فَنَظَرْتُ فِي وُجُوهِ الْقَوْمِ فَإِذَا أَنَا أَحْدَثُهُمْ سِنًّا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the trees there is a tree that is like a believing man." I wanted to say that it was the date palm, but I looked at the faces of the people and found that I was the youngest of them in age. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself said: "It is the date palm."
