Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13436 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Qul huwa

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ تَعْدِلُ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ، وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ تَعْدِلُ رُبْعَ الْقُرْآنِ، وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِهِمَا فِي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ» وَقَالَ: «هَاتَانِ الرَّكْعَتَانِ فِيهَا رَغِبَ الدَّهْرُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Qul huwa Allahu ahad is equal to a third of the Qur'an, and Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun is equal to a quarter of the Qur'an," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite these two surahs in the two rak'ahs of Fajr, and he said: "In these two rak'ahs lies what is desirable for all time."
