Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13376 — I heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased)

Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil narrated: I heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) clothed me in a Coptic garment, and clothed Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) in a striped silk suit. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw that I had let my garment hang down, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) came, took hold of my shoulder and said: "O Ibn Umar, any garment that touches the ground will be in the Fire." Thereafter I saw Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) tying his lower garment up to the middle of his shin.
