حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْمَاجِشُونِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: «غَدَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى عَرَفَةَ فَمِنَّا الْمُلَبِّي، وَمِنَّا الْمُكَبِّرُ لَا يُعَابُ عَلَى الْمُكَبِّرِ تَكْبِيرُهُ، وَلَا عَلَى الْمُلَبِّي تَلْبِيَتُهُ» وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ مِمَّنْ يُكَبِّرُ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "We set out early in the morning with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) towards Arafah. Some of us were reciting the talbiyah and some were saying the takbir; the one saying the takbir was not faulted for his takbir, nor the one reciting the talbiyah for his talbiyah." And Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was among those who said the takbir.
