Yaqub bin Abdullah from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13233 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Iblis entered Iraq
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «دَخَلَ إِبْلِيسُ الْعِرَاقَ فَقَضَى فِيهِ حَاجَتَهُ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الشَّامَ فَطَرَدُوهُ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مِصْرَ فَبَاضَ فِيهَا وَفَرَّخَ، وَبَسَطَ عَبْقَرِيَّهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Iblis entered Iraq and fulfilled his need there, then he entered Syria and they drove him out, then he entered Egypt and laid eggs there and hatched chicks, and spread out his belongings there."
