حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ فَبَدَأَ فَصَلَّى بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ، وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out on the day of Eid and first led the prayer without the adhan and iqamah, then he delivered the sermon."
