Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13147 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَلَبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، ثنا سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا فَإِنَّهُ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ قِيرَاطٌ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever keeps a dog, one qirat is deducted from his deeds."
