حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفَاضَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «إِلَيْكَ تَعْدُو قَلِقًا وَضِينُهَا مُخَالِفًا دِينَ النَّصَارَى دِينُهَا» قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ: «وَهِمَ عِنْدِي أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ فِي رَفْعِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لِأَنَّ الْمَشْهُورَ فِي الرِّوَايَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الرِّجْزَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from Arafat reciting these verses: "(O Allah!) To You she (this she-camel) runs, her girth loose and shaking; the religion of her (rider) is opposed to the religion of the Christians."
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "In my view, Abu al-Rabi' al-Samman erred in attributing this hadith (marfu') to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), because the well-known narration from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is that he himself used to recite this rajaz verse while departing from Arafat."
