Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13094 — A young man came to the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الرُّزِّيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ مُهَجِّعٍ، ثنا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: جَاءَ غُلَامٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أُرِيدُ هَذِهِ النَّاحِيَةَ الْحَجَّ قَالَ: فَمَشَى مَعَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: «يَا غُلَامُ زَوَّدَكَ اللهُ التَّقْوَى , وَوَجَّهَكَ فِي الْخَيْرِ، وَكَفَاكَ الْهَمَّ» , فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ الْغُلَامُ سَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: «يَا غُلَامُ , قَبِلَ حَجَّكَ، وَكَفَّرَ ذَنْبَكَ، وَأَخْلَفَ نَفَقَتَكَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: A young man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I intend to go in this direction for Hajj. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) walked with him and said: "O young man, may Allah provide you with piety as your provision, turn you towards goodness, and relieve you of your worries." When the young man returned, he greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with salam; he (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head towards him and said: "O young man, your Hajj has been accepted, your sin has been forgiven, and what you spent will be replaced for you."
